DESCRIPTION
A rare and superb Montblanc Limited Edition 4810 "Patron of Art" Fountain Pen, celebrating the Prince Regent. His appreciation for the fine arts shaped British culture to his taste, and art forms from the period of his reign are known as those of the "Regency period".
The deep blue resin barrel and cap are embraced with the fretwork pattern in gold plated 925 sterling silver. The cap is decorated by a crown whose delicate composition recalls the keen eye for detail of royal craftsmen of the past.
The 18 Karat Gold nib is beautifully hand-engraved with the insigna of the British monarchy in the Regency period.
The pen is in perfect condition, never used, it comes with the original outer box, laquered wood display box and booklet. The model dates to 1995.
It is a Limited Edition number 2492 / 4810.
