DESCRIPTION
A rare and superb Montblanc Limited Edition 2000 Fountain Pen, celebrating the Chinese Year of the Golden Dragon, which only happens every 60 years. The next year of the Dragon coinciding with the turn of the Millennium will be in 5000.
The Year of the Golden Dragon is the only limited edition piece produced by Montblanc to commemorate the Year 2000.
The black resin pen with cap enhanced by a 18 Karat gold dragon's eyes are set with rubes and the mouth holds a cultured pearl. The gold dragon is Hallmarked 750 for 18 Karat solid gold.
The 18 Karat Solid Gold nib is hand-engraved with the Chinese character of "dragon".
The pen is in perfect condition, never used, it comes with the original outer box, large black laquered wood display box and booklet. The model dates to 2000.
It is a Limited Edition number 1714 / 2000.
