19th Century Japanese Meiji period shibayama pair of vases on elaborate stands, tops applied with pierced silver rims and bases with revolving top carved wood stands, the sides of each vase intricately inlaid, one side with a pair of exotic birds perched in a blossoming tree, the reverse of each vase with a floral trellis arrangement, each side applied with an inlaid signed panel (possibly by Masaaki).
