19th Century pair of German Silver and cut-glass candlesticks, shaped triangular bases applied with three cast cherubs holding the cut and etched glass stem, topped by silver urns chased with flowers and fruiting vine, detachable nozzles. Hallmarked German silver (800), pseudo-marks for J. D. Schleissner & Sohne, Hanau.

DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century pair of German Solid Silver and cut-glass candlesticks, shaped triangular bases applied with three cast cherubs holding the cut and etched glass stem, topped by silver urns chased with flowers and fruiting vine, detachable nozzles.


The bases are Hallmarked German silver (800 standard), pseudo-marks for J. D. Schleissner & Sohne, Hanau, year 1880-90, Retailer's mark for Buchholz & Zelt (New York) and serial numbers. 

CONDITION

In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
