19th Century Georgian Silver pair of very large, heavy gauge salts, each raised on three scrolling legs, the body exceptionally decorative, applied with a cast decoration in relief with shells, inside the salts is gilt. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1818 (C), Maker's mark IH for John Houle.

Antique early 19th Century Georgian Solid Silver pair of very large, heavy gauge salts, each raised on three scrolling legs, the body exceptionally decorative, applied with a cast decoration in relief with shells, inside the salts is gilt. Each piece is fully Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1818 (C), Maker's mark IH (John Houle, important silversmith).
