18th Century Georgian Silver set of four Sauce Tureens, each navette-shaped on rectangular pedestal feet, applied reeded rim with twin angular handles, matching domed covers terminating with a circular reeded handle. Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1793 (s), Maker's mark RS for Robert Sharp.

Antique 18th Century Georgian rare and exceptional Solid Silver set of four Sauce Tureens, each navette-shaped on rectangular pedestal feet, applied reeded rim with twin angular handles, matching domed covers terminating with a circular reeded handle. Each body engraved with coat of arms (the set was probably commissioned for an important wedding), matching family crest on each cover.
A complete set of four 18th Century tureens is extremely rare, this features a particularly heavy gauge and is in great condition. All parts are Hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), London, year 1793 (s), Maker's mark RS (Robert Sharp).

In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear.
