Each engraved with a family crest and a coat of arms. Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1785 (k), Maker's mark IY for James Young.

DESCRIPTION

Antique 18th Century pair of rare Georgian solid silver sauce tureens and covers, each navette-shaped on oval pedestal foot, cast beaded rims, matching domed covers terminating with a cast urn-shaped finial. Each engraved with a family crest and a coat of arms.

All parts are Hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), London, year 1785 (k), Maker's mark IY (James Young).
