18th Century Georgian Silver sauce boats, each exceptionally large and heavy, of typical helmet-form, cast leaf-capped scroll handle, wavy rim, resting on three cast feet, each body is beautifully chased with a Rococo scroll and floral decoration, cartouches engraved with a family crest. Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, one year 1746 (l), Maker's mark W.W for William Williams I.

Antique 18th Century pair of rare Georgian Solid Silver sauce boats, each exceptionally large and heavy, of typical helmet-form, cast leaf-capped scroll handle, wavy rim, resting on three cast feet, each body is beautifully chased with a Rococo scroll and floral decoration, cartouches engraved with a family crest. This magnificent pair of sauce boats is the best in terms of design, size and quality, outstanding weight. Both Hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), London, one year 1746 (l), Maker's mark W.W (William Williams I).
