18th Century rare Georgian silver lidded tankard, of baluster form, with applied girdle, domed cover, double scroll handle, the body profusely chased and engraved all over with scrolls and flowers, gilt interior, the front engraved with a memorial inscription: "Presented by Sir William Medlycott Bar. to Alfred Reynolds. In remembrance of the Opening of the Milborne Port Schools, 14th July 1864", the chasing is probably contemporary to the inscription. Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1763 (H), Maker's mark S.C for Simeon Coley.

Antique 18th Century rare Georgian Solid Silver lidded tankard, of baluster form, with applied girdle, domed cover, double scroll handle, the body profusely chased and engraved all over with scrolls and flowers, gilt interior, the front engraved with a memorial inscription: "Presented by Sir William Medlycott Bar. to Alfred Reynolds. Each part is Hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), London, year 1763 (H), Maker's mark S.C (Simeon Coley).

In Great condition - No damage, just general wear.
