Antique 20th Century Italian Avolio solid silver pair of sculptural candelabra with gilded rococo bases, representing a male and female centaur each holding a cornucopia supporting a acanthus leaf five light candelabrum. The quality of the sculptures is very fine, heavy and well modelled, made by one of the greatest Italian silversmiths of the early 20th Century. All figures signed Avolio, a very important silversmiths firm specializing in impressive sculptural pieces inspired to Classical Italian art.
