19th Century Norwegian Silver and Cloisonne' enamel set of 12 tea spoons and tea strainer, the silver is richly gilt, decorated with blue turquoise enamel on wirework scrolls, with white beaded boarder on matted silver ground. Hallmarked Norwegian silver (925), Oslo, year 1880-1925, Maker's mark for David Andersen.

DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century Norwegian Solid Silver and Cloisonne' enamel set of 12 tea spoons and tea strainer, the silver is richly gilt, decorated with blue turquoise enamel on wirework scrolls, with white beaded boarder on matted silver ground.

Each item Hallmarked Norwegian silver (925 standard), Oslo, year 1880-1925, Maker's mark for David Andersen, one of the best Norwegian gold and silversmiths of all time who is particularly famous for his enamel work.

CONDITION

In Great Condition - minor losses to the enamel.
